The article I've just finished reading describes why South Korean pres. Lee decided to land on Takeshima islets on August 10 and later made insulting remarks on His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.

The article focuses on five reasons; 1. Failure to achieve Japan and South Korea cultural exchange project, 2. Higher recognition of a theory of declining power of Japan and U.S. within South Korea, 3. Imminent arrest of president Lee for bribery charges, 4.Possible violation of a decision on so-called "Comfort Women" made by  Constitutional Court of South Korea, and 5. Failure to improve economic conditions.

South Korean president Lee has been afraid of ending his presidential tenure with no achievements. To avoid either the imminent arrest or being called incompetent president after he steps down as president of South Korea, he dared to brake a promise to keep status quo of Takeshima issue with Japan and at the same time insulted Japan and her people by making vulgar remarks on His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.

The article concludes that Japan should be better united with Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Mongolia, India, etc. by giving up an idea of emphasizing friendship with Seoul, and that Lee will be remembered as the president who has achieved the worst diplomatic relations ever recorded with Japan in the history of bilateral relations.

U.S. should demand ROK to appear at Int'l Court of Justice over Takeshima

The United States reportedly called on Japan and south korea to resolve differences through dialogue as tensions took a farcical turn.

No disputable reasons exist; however, South Korea invaded Takeshima in 1952 when Japan was still under the U.S. occupation. Takeshima has been illegally occupied by South Korea since then. As Japan was powerless and placed under the U.S. occupation at the time of invasion into Takeshima by South Korea and as the United States failed to protect Japan's territory, the United States must assume full responsibility at least for facilitating settlement of the issue still existing between Japan and south korea.

Or, the United States should demand south korea to immediately appear at International Court of Justice as peacefully and repeatedly requested by the Government of Japan.

U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Arrested for Indecency

Naha Police Station, Okinawa Police Department has reportedly arrested U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Ian Tarver aged 21 on suspicion of having committed an indecent act against a 40 years old woman, a resident of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.

According to the police report, a suspect Tarver allegedly pushed the woman down from behind and injured her head and right hand, and committed an indecent act against her on a street in Naha city at around 4:30 am today.

A person in the neighborhood heard the woman scream and called up police. He ran away from the crime scene. However, he was found 10 minutes later and was arrested by police. He has so far denied the alleged charges.

To sever diplomatic relation with deranged S. Korea in view of its repeated distortion of historical facts (including fabrication of stories with no objective evidences at all, etc.), its insulting behavior and words shown against Japan and her people (including "blasphemy against those souls of Japanese soldiers enshrined at Yasukuni Shrine"),  frauds, violation of Japan's sovereignty and territory, violation of international laws and Japan's domestic laws, economic terrorism, etc. that portray South Korea as a state only hazardous to Japan and her people. This is the best possible decision we have prudently made  so far.

 

Japan's countermeasures are inevitably imminent

The outrageous action of landing on Takeshima islets by s. korean pres. Lee on August 10 has obviously helped Japan remain convinced that Japan will inevitably enforce some of the countermeasures Japan has long withheld. It is reported that Japan has been in a process of working out the best possible countermeasures at this moment to deal with absurdity suddenly and deliberately demonstrated by Lee.
Not only at the governmental level but also at the citizens level, the necessary execution of countermeasures against s. korean pres. Lee's absurd action appears to be rapidly gaining momentum. Many strongly voice an opinion that Japan's initial action should be in the area of economic sanction such as immediate termination of currency swap agreement with s. korea as Japan only agreed to help s. korea ease s. korean currency exchange situation.

#UN Japan summons S. Korean ambassador over Lee's illegal entry into Takeshima

Despite Japan's repeated warning against south korean pres. Lee's entry into Takeshima islets still illegally occupied by south korea since January 18, 1952, a little more than three months before San Francisco Peace Agreement (signed on September 8, 1951) became effective on April 28, 1952, Lee defiantly landed on Takeshima islets at around 14:00 on August 10.

Japan has decided to summon South Korean ambassador in Tokyo over Lee's illegal entry into Takeshima islets while considering the recall of the Japanese Ambassador from Seoul, thereby finding it inevitable to witness rapid deterioration in relations between Japan and south korea.

The Government of Japan has strongly protested south korean government against Lee's landing on Takeshima islets and at the same time has announced that the Government will uncompromisingly deal with south korea's outrageous action.

No disputable reasons exist. However, South Korea invaded Takeshima in 1952 when Japan was still under the U.S.occupation. Takeshima has been illegally occupied by South Korea since then.

Japan will recall her Ambassador from South Korea over Lee's entry into Takeshima

It is learned on August 9 that South Korean pres. Lee is prepared to enter Takeshima, Shimane Prefecture, Japan on August 10. The Government of Japan has already urged the government of South Korea to cancel his entry into Takeshima illegally occupied by South Korea since 1952 lest Japan-south korea relations will further deteriorate.

In the event that the government of South Korea imprudently executes its scheduled entry, Japan will recall her Ambassador from South Korea.

Japan has confirmed that South Korea has designated sky over Takeshima as military training airspace for jetfighters, which Japan has demanded South Korea to immediately call off. No response has been made yet.

Japan Football Association must raise a question over two major misjudgements Chief Referee made in the gold-medal match of women’s soccer between Japan and US although we know that FIFA will never overturn them. In the first half, the American player obviously committed a foul of handling the ball (This foul is called if the player is trying to control the ball with his or her hands or arms) in the penalty area that should have given Japan one penalty kick (a penalty kick is awarded when a defender commits a a penal or major fouls with the penalty area). In the second half, Ms. Kumagai of Japan was all surrounded by the American players, one of whom was holding Kumagai's body with two arms around and pushed her down in the penalty area that should have given Japan another penalty kick.
