日本国島根県竹島 Takeshima, Shimane Prefecture, Japan
Japan has historically committed to her stance of being much lenient in dealing with South Korea despite its provocative and often extremely offensive actions against its friendly and peace-loving neighbor Japan.
Recently the world has witnessed South Korean pres. Lee illegally entering Takeshima islets, Japan, trying to stir up tensions between Japan and South Korea. He ignored a historical fact that Japan had long helped South Korea rebuild its nation even after it was devastated during the Korean war and that Japan had earlier developed Korea into a civilized peninsula during 36 years of annexation after Koreans vehemently sought help from Japan before 1910, so that Korea would not be colonized by either Russia or the western powers. Before Japan defeated Qing Dynasty (the last imperial dynasty of China, ruling from 1644 to 1912) in 1895, Korea was a complete vassal state of Qing Dynasty who had practiced brutal rule over Korea.
Both Japan and South Korea is well aware that South Korean economy fully depends upon Japan's assistance, as evidenced in the recent currency swap agreement amounted to be 5.5 trillion Yen. This agreement will automatically expire by October this year if Japan decides to reject its extension. The Government of Japan has reportedly decided to review the currency swap agreement in view of the actions taken by South Korea against Japan over Takeshima issue.
Japan’s neighbor has gone too far this time by allowing its pres. Lee to land on Takeshima islets, practically tearing up a note verbale on Takeshima issue exchanged between Japan and South Korea in 1965. His entry has angered the public in Japan including those who had more or less tended to show favorable attitude toward South Korea.
It seems that South Korea has been strangling itself with the stories it fabricated in collaboration with leftists in Japan.
