On September 20, the Japan Coast Guard vessels have warned two Chinese Maritime Surveillance ships in Japan’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ) not to carry out any activities such as inspecting Chinese fishing vessels as soon as the Japan Coast Guard vessels confirmed that Chinese inspectors had boarded the Chinese fishing vessels. China seems trying to demonstrate to the world that the EEZ is under the Chinese control.
anti-Japan in China
Publicly, the United States has called for calm, restraint, and peaceful resolution and has sensibly asserted its own neutrality on the sovereignty disputes. Privately, senior American officials should be reminding Hu Jintao that Japan is America’s most important ally in the region; that when push comes to shove, U.S. neutrality will be tested; and that the U.S. president would be hard pressed to leave Japan to fend for itself in a time of great need.

Japanese left wing politicians such as Fukushima, Sengoku, etc. must be prosecuted for their anti-Japan movements in collaboration with "China", "South Korea", and "North Korea". They have been one of the major sources of misfortunes Japan have had to suffer and to endure. Who's dragging Japan down? Qui faisant glisser vers le bas le Japon? http://bit.ly/SXxX2l
Anti-Japan riots obviously staged by China leaders! Who really caused historical incidents such as 9/19 has not been finalized yet. Victors had to blame Japan to prove that Japan was aggressive at Tokyo Trials directed and produced by U.S.

Hong Lei, spokesman for The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the People's Republic of China stated at the regular press conference that deployment of two Chinese frigate ships at high sea north of Senkaku islands means "our stance on Senkaku islands is clear". He stopped just short of threatening to go to war. He further told the press to inquire about it at related departments. The Ministry of National Defense, the People's Republic of China has not disclosed any remarks on deployment of two frigates.
@Plaid_Panetta I am of the opinion that a majority of Japanese is sick and tired of hearing from U.S. "Urge Japan and China to calm down" because Japan has been calm for decades while China has been destabilizing the Asia-Pacific region. Japan will remain calm even from now.

Angered, even though its legitimacy never questioned as it has been historically an integral part of Japan, by nationalization of Senkaku islands by the Government of Japan, Mr. Xi Jinping, First Secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of China, has reportedly devised hardline policy against Japan and has been the foremost propagator of anti-Japan policy. It seems that a concept of "harmonious society" promoted by Mr. Hu Jintao, the departing leader of China will soon be gone into oblivion completely.
Unforgivable violence now spreading across China has caused much damage to the Japanese investments, including Panasonic, the earliest and largest Japanese investment in China since Japan normalized diplomatic relations with China in 1972.
In October, 1978, Mr. Deng Xiaoping, then first vice premier, visited Japan and met Mr. Kounosuke Matsushita, a founder of Panasonic in Ibaraki City, Osaka, Japan. Mr. Deng so eager to improve relations with the outside world, particularly with Japan humbly requested Mr. Matsushita to teach him how to modernize electronics industry. In reply to his humble request, Mr. Matsushita promised to extend full support to him.
Mr. Deng Xiaoping
Mr. Matsushita has been well known in China for his courageous decision to step into Japan-China economic cooperation in the early days of Chinese struggle to modernize the country soon after China embarked upon "reforms and openness". The joint venture of color CRT plant established in Beijing had never been closed down even under martial law after Tiananmen Square incident occurred.
The ongoing turmoil in China proves that past achievement in and remarkable contribution to the Chinese society guarantee foreign investors nothing, particularly to the Japanese investors China always targets at for its political causes. No stable business operations are foreseeable as political risks seem to be getting higher and higher. Many Japanese see anti-Japan protests as "China returns evil for good".
The Chinese Rampage (incl. massacres) is an infamous centuries old tradition. This incident has helped a majority of Japanese remember such an expression as "China returns evil for good".
Tetsuya Watanabe, novelist, economic critic, and CEO of a company tweets as follows:
The best possible answer to the ongoing anti-Japan protests spreading in China is "Japan fully recognizes them as being a Chinese domestic issue; therefore, it is not an issue Japan should interfere with. However, as the Japanese enterprises have been vandalized and looted, we expect that China will arrest criminal suspects urgently and then will compensate the Japanese victims for the tangible and intangible losses they have suffered.
Prime Minister Noda indicated last night that Japan would demand the Chinese government to compensate Japan and Japanese-owned companies for the damages caused by Chinese mobs during anti-Japan protests.
Director General of Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called up Minister Han Zhiqiang of the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo and strongly protested on the phone over the damages inflicted upon the Embassy of Japan and others, and the intrusion of Chinese maritime surveillance ships into the Japanese territorial waters.
Breaking: The Japan Coast Guard has spotted a large formation of Chinese fishing vessels (a few hundred) in the East China Sea now operating fishing activities. Under Japan-China Fisheries Agreement, they are allowed to operate in the waters (EEZ) outside the Japanese territorial waters.
