Mr. Akira Ikegami, a well-known newscaster reports on a comparative study of dietary habits of two Japanese Prime Ministers (ex-Prime Minister Aso, Liberal Democratic Party and Prime Minister Kan, Democratic Party of Japan), expressing his words so critical of ex-Prime Minister Aso for his frequent visits to the exclusive bars and restaurants at the expensive hotels, etc. while sounding very supportive of Prime Minister Kan for his folksiness, being well-acquainted with the ordinary people at the restaurants where he frequently visits.
It seems that Mr. Ikegami is trying to make fun of Mr. Aso by pointing out Mr. Aso's frequent visits to the exclusive restaurants and bars while showing a newspaper clipping dated October 30, 2008. Mr. Ikegami emphasizes "Mr. Aso is like "Michelin Guide"and that Mr. Aso enjoyed a dinner party with university students members of Liberal Democratic Party at the ordinary restaurant, trying to absorb their opinions. However, right after the party was over, he went striaght to the exclusive bar at the expensive hotel." by showing a newspaper clipping dated November 9, 2008.
Everyone is laughing at Mr. Aso over the comments made by Mr. Ikegami. Mr. Ikegami continues his analysis and says that Prime Minister Kan frequents the ordinary Chinese noodle restaurants. Mr. Ikegami emphasizes that Prime Minister Kan is quite different from those dietary habits shown by Mr. Aso.
However, a truth is that Prime Minister Kan has been to exclusive restaurants and bars. There is a long list of restaurants and bars that are all exclusive and expensive. Prime Minister Kan visited the ordinary Chinese noodle restaurant only once on August 27, 2010, the one Mr. Ikegami used to emphasize that Prime Minister Kan is clean, diligent, and a populist.
The video says "Mr. Ikegami! When are you going to express your apology for fabricating a story? We all Japanese should protest against Fuji TV for the outrageous fabrication."
In the last minutes, all the sponsors supporting the program are shown again. Prime Minister Kan's close relations with the Korean peninsula are described.
On Augst 21, Japanese young generaton will get together to stand up against "Biased TV Programs and will voice their opinions over "Biased TV Programs" continuously shown on Fuji TV.
