Ted traveled to 59 countries where I was exposed to different cultures & recognized some of them irreconcilable. However, I dare attempt to mitigate them.

I love the web, stories, photos, exploring, food, travel, culture, and language. I'm married and in my 30s.

This guy does his own reporting about "comfort women" (he's a denier): @TedYokohama
He mentions that the US is no better, having forced women to have sex during Occupation. And I've noted all the rapes in Okinawa before.
I'm telling you guys about him because now whenever he posts an article, he @-mentions me.
By the way, I abhor the phrase "comfort women" to describe people who were tricked, coerced, forced, and sold into sex work.
There is illegal sex trafficking everywhere. Yes, including the US. There's a huge sex trafficking network related to the Super Bowl
I don't like the idea of anyone having to demean themselves for any reason, including "to make money to live on".
This is not to say that I am against all sex work--my jury is still out, honestly. I just don't know enough about it.
But I am definitely against any situation that victimizes people.
@TedYokohama I was using “denier” to mean you are questioning the official story. Not many characters in tweets.
@TedYokohama
@cosleia Not denying comfort women but trying to rectify what most of you believe to be true about comfort women as reported & distorted by biased media. @t_ishin
@TedYokohama
@cosleia Comfort women existed as prostitutes. No evidence shows Japanese Army was involved in such a manner as biased media report. @t_ishin
