China has shown its ugly and greedy desire to expand its territories into Okinawa, Japan ever since 1971 only three years after the UN Economic Commission for Asia and the Far East (ECAFE, now called ESCAP) indicated in its report potential large reserves of oil and gas in Japan's territorial waters around Senkaku archipelago near Okinawa islands. It was 1969 that Japan-US had just began negotiations on the reversion of Okinawa islands to Japan. There remains a question of why ECAFE had to publish the report on the potential large reserves of oil in and around the territorial waters of Japan just in time for the start of the negotiations vital to Japan. Is it just coincidental or intentional?
