N. Korean leader orders army to prepare for war with South

­Supreme Leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un has ordered troops to be ready for war if “even one” South Korean shell falls on Northern territory. The announcement comes ahead of annual US-South Korean war games, set for August 20-30. Pyongyang considers the military exercises a provocation that could break the fragile armistice on the Korean Peninsula. Kim Jong-un also extended thanks to servicemembers who took part in previous conflicts with South Korea.
