I was shocked to know that how U.S. was sneaky, in fact sneakier than you think Japan was: a myth created by U.S. government for its costly propaganda to defame Japan and Japanese during and after the Greater East Asia War (a proper naming of the Pacific War in Japan; see a note for details).
A majority of the American public has characterized "Pearl Harbor" as being sneaky and being unjustifiable, so as to find some solace through the darkness U.S.A. has been placed in due to the worst atrocities ever committed in the history of mankind. They are not only Hiroshima and Nagasaki but also indiscriminate bombardment mercilessly executed by U.S.A. and its people.
U.S.A. has long used "Pearl Harbor" as a basis for its declaration of war against Japan. However, long before "Pearl Harbor", U.S. prepared for the war against Japan. "Flying Tiger", a covert operation to help Chang Kai-shek fight against Japan was proposed by the White House of F.D.Roosevelt and supported by the War Dept. , violating U.S. Neutrality Act. China also was financially assisted by U.S. in reply to a request made by Chang Kai-shek 4 years before "Pearl Harbor". This histrical fact alone proves that it was neither "Surprise attack nor Sneak attack" at all.
December 7th is a day of infamy for U.S? Who is really sneaky?

Note:
After the Greater East Asia War was over, Supreme Commander of the Allied Powers (SCAP), the title held by General Douglas MacArthur during the Occupation of Japan prohibited the use of an expression "The Greater East Asia War" and published a history of the Pacific War under the tile of "Peace and War" on Japanese newspapers for the nationwide distribution of the American made history of the war. Since its publication, Japan has used "The Pacific War" even on school textbooks.
"Peace and War" was prepared in 1943 to describe a history of the Pacific War viewed from the U.S. perspectives. As soon as the U.S. forces advanced into Japan, they ordered the Ministry of Education, the Government of Japan to use it as a teaching material.
This "Peace and War" was prepared by the U.S. State Department to justify the purposes of the war U.S.A. had pursued; therefore, it is a propaganda document. In this document, one will find a detailed description of the World War II, trying to prove that the World War II was a war between "fascism pursued by the tripartite of Germany, Italy, and Japan" and "democracy represented by the Great Britain, the United States of America, and the Soviet Union", in which "Democracy defeated Evil Fascism" has been described in such a great detail.

My comment:
It has never occurred to me that the Soviet Union ruled by that son of a bitch "Stalin"was a democratic society.

U.S. developed incendiary bombs specifically designed to maximize the effect of indiscriminate bombing non-combatants including inborn babies, babies, children, women, the aged, etc.
Le May and his man were happy about their kills.
Hundreds of thousands of lives were suddenly and deliberately ended by evil, despicable acts of atrocity. B-29 bombers flying at very low altitude above Tokyo, dropping incendiary bombs and napalms on the innocent civilians. Exploding -- not only burning a huge -- a huge number of houses but also suffocating and incinerating a huge -- a huge number of humans have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness, and unyielding anger. It was just a huge -- a huge gas chamber and a huge incinerator --the largest ever created in the history of mankind. It was just intended to demonstrate their superiority over the Asian races. But they failed. Many Asian nations gained independence from the white ruled nations after the war.-Ted Yokohama.
