At North Korean schools in Japan, Korean boys have been reportedly taught that Japanese are not entitled to complain about abduction of the Japanese nationals since Japan coerced Koreans into residing in Japan in the past.

Assuming what their teaching is right in every respect (In fact, none was forced to live  in Japan), both Japan and North Korea will soon reach a very amicable settlement over the abduction issue. That is, Japan will return all North Koreans back to North Korea in exchange for the Japanese victims still confined there.

Note: Many of Koreans still in Japan, whether they are Northern or Southern, smuggled themselves into Japan amid turmoil Japan experienced soon after the war simply because they were unable to survive in the Korean peninsula.
