The government of s. korea has recently indicated its plan to hold a committee named "A Special Committee to Protect Takeshima as National Territory" (tentatively translated into English) of s. korean national assembly on Takeshima Islets, Shimane Prefecture, Japan.
Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto (a great grandson of Japan's First Prime Minister Hirobumi Ito assassinated by a korean guy shown on the left) reportedly made it clear at Standing Committee of Foreign Relations of the Lower House, Japan's national Diet that the Government of Japan had strongly protested against s.korean government to cancel the planned committee in the Japanese territory through a diplomatic channel.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of Japan, a plan made by 18 s. korean national assembly members to visit Takeshima Islets, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, being protected by battleships and helicopters and to hold a special committee has been postphoned due to deteriorating weather conditions around Takeshima Islets. However, s.korean government has clearly indicated that it would hold the planned committee around May 10.
It should be regarded as an offensive act by s. korean government, clearly violating international laws. It is not a visit to Takeshima Islets but a renewed invasion into Takeshima Islets, Shimane Prefecture, Japan.
A number of the actions recently taken by s. korea in relation to Takeshima Islets is a clear proof that s. korea has taken the first step into a renewed act of war against Japan. Japan should consider some economic sanctions against s. korea.
