August is the Month of Mourning in Japan

As July turns to August, it is the month of mourning. Atomic bombing Memorials of Hiroshima and Nagasaki before August 15, the day when we remember as the day of ending the war.

During this time of year, mass media prepare TV programs for retrospectively reminding the viewers of "Horrors and Miseries of War" by showing the U.S. forces films, in which we see corpses of Japanese soldiers lying around, dying Japanese soldiers, Japanese soldiers being burned to death by flamethrowers, and then Japanese women jumping off Banzai cliff, Saipan again this year.

I have to remind you here that all those programs are nothing educational but so designed as to input distorted and masochistic views of the Japanese history into TV viewers by showing the war dead. They are political propaganda being manipulated by the leftists trying to increase their power while just catering for the needs of the occupation forces. Thus, cabinet members of the leftist party, as  the calendar turns to August, feel so relieved to see those propaganda films being shown on TV, trying to influence the Japanese viewers with distorted and masochistic views of history. And, then they believe it justified to ignore "Yasukuni Shrine".

Furthermore, those hypes the Japanese mass media use in August are those filmed by the U.S. forces. In other words, the scenes depicted in them are nothing but the American soldiers hunting down the Japanese soldiers as preys by guns and flamethrowers after the Japanese forces ceased to carry out the organized warfare.

And, the mere fact that the Japanese media continue to show those flicks produced by the U.S. forces, could be interpreted as subtly indicating that the Japanese media harbor the same mentality as the American soldiers who treated the Japanese soldiers like "Cockroaches". This shows that the Japanese mass media never mourn the war dead but they insult them!

Just ask yourself !

The Japanese mass media have so far refrained from publicly showing the dead bodies of those victimized in massive quakes and Tsunami that occurred on March 11 because they just can't publicly display the horrible pictures of the loved ones. But, foreign mass media continue to show no compassion and respect to those dead lying around in the disaster stricken areas by publicly exhibiting them although we can not stop the foreign mass media from doing so. One could easily estimate the degree of sorrow over deaths of their familiy members the surviving families would have when seeing them.

Similarly, just think of the reason behind the un-compassionate act of the Japanese mass media ! They regard the Japanese war dead as some kind of "Cockroaches" just like the American forces do.

 

 

How could they possibly insult the Japanese war dead in August, the month of mourning? What kind of mentality do they have? Don't they realize that they are our comrades enshrined in Yasukuni Shrine?

I further write a few points.

Remember the films showing the Japanese women jumping off  Banzai cliff in Saipan? The American camera crew knew exactly where the best place to view and film the Japanese women jumping off the cliff was and then waited for them to show up. Because the American soldiers chased them to the cliff. We notice that they turned around to see who's coming after them before jumping off. The last image they saw before jumping off must have been the American soldiers coming after them with grinning laugh. Those Japanese women knew well what would happen to them if captured alive by the American soldiers. They chose to die rather than experiencing humiliation by the American soldiers.

   

They were Yamato Nadeshikos (Note:Japan women's soccer team "Nadeshiko Japan" named after Yamato Nadeshiko) so proud of being the Japanese. Why do the Japanese media keep showing their final moments ?

Around Senkaku Islands Sept.1: Mr. Shindo Reports on Chinese Intrusion

 

 

 

Below is a provisional translation of the blog post published by Mr. Yoshitaka Shindo, a member of the House of Representatives, Japan's National Diet and a member of the Liberal Democratic Party.

Mr. Yoshitaka Shindo reports on Chinese intrusion into Japan's territorial waters near Senkaku Islands in his blog post:

I have uploaded a video recorded on August 24  when two Chinese Fisheries Patrol vessels intruded into Japan's territorial waters near Senkaku Islands, which I requested the Government (of Japan) to make available to the public at the Special Committee on Japan's Territories held on August 25.

The Chinese Fisheries Patrol vessel has never penetrated into Japanese territorial waters before. It is confirmed that the Patrol vessels are equipped with electronic message boards installed on both sides of bridges.

In response to the warning to leave Japan's territorial waters made by the Japan Coast Guard ships, the Chinese Fisheries Patrol vessel indicated a message "We are carrying out our official duty in accordance with our laws. Uotsurijima and its adjacent islands are an integral part of the Chinese territory. " on an electric message board and at the same time sent it by radio.

Face International Justice Over Takeshima or Crawl into a Hole and Disappear

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Outrageous refusal of three Japanese lawmakers Mr. Shindo Yoshitaka, Mr. Sato Masahisa, and Ms. Indada Tomomi to enter South Korea on August 1 clearly indicates South Korean reckless rejection to peacefully settle Takeshima issue in accordance with the international rule despite the fact that the South Korean population has been immensely proud of a South Korean man heading the supreme international organization called "United Nations" created in 1945 for facilitating cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress, human rights, and achievement of world peace.

Not only showing contempt for the international organization but also possibly violating the laws while failing to secure free passage and safety of three Japanese lawmakers, not to mention "Diplomatic Reciprocity",  the government of South Korea should carefully review its blatant acts done against three Japanese lawmakers in relation to its domestic laws and international laws, thereby exploring a way to secure its improved position in free and democratic community of the world. Otherewise, South Korea will be exposed to the international criticism as much as its counterpart North Korea has been.

1899年『大韓地誌』 （大韓帝国の最初の地理の教科書

Geography Textbook of The Great Empire of Korea (First Geography Textbook published by The Great Empire of Korea in 1899)

The textbook clearly defines a territory of the Great Empire of Korea whose North latitude is from 33 degrees 15 minutes to 42 degrees 25 minutes and whose East longtitude from 124 degrees 30 minutes to 130 degrees 35 minutes.

However, Takeshima is situated at 131 degrees 52 minutes East longtitude. In other words, a territoriy of South Korea is limited up to Ulleung Island, therefore, not including Takeshima islets approximately 90 kilometers from Ulleung Island.

The year 1899 is four years after Treaty of Shimonoseki was signed at the Shunpanrō hall on April 17, 1895, between the Empire of Japan and Qing Empire of China, ending the First Sino-Japanese War. The peace conference took place from March 20 to April 17, 1895. This treaty followed and superseded the Sino-Japanese Friendship and Trade Treaty of 1871. In this treaty, China recognized the independence of Korea and renounced any claims to that country. (Wikipedia)

And, the year 1899 is 6 years before the Japan–Korea Treaty of 1905, also known as the Eulsa Treaty or Japan–Korea Protectorate Treaty, was made between the Empire of Japan and the Korean Empire in 1905.

The textbook was published in 1899 when Korea was fully recognized as an independent nation.

Besides, we observe an internationally recognized name "Sea of Japan" repeatedly used in this textbook (My additional observation: although the government of South Korea has been engaged in lobbying a number of international figures, hoping that they would agree on its fabricated stories related to "Sea of Japan and "Takeshima".).

 

 

 

1947年『朝鮮常識問答』（韓国の常識Q＆A）

Dialogue of Korean Common Sense published in 1947 again clearly defines a territory of Southern Korea whose East longtitude is from 124 degrees 30 minutes to 130 degrees 35 minutes.

Let me emphasize again that Takeshima is situated at 131 degrees 52 minutes East longtitude. In other words, a territoriy of South Korea is limited up to Ulleung Island, therefore, not including Takeshima islets approximately 90 kilometers from Ulleung Island.

 

 

 

1948年『朝鮮常識』（韓国の常識）

Dialogue of Korean Common Sense published in 1948 again clearly defines a territory of South Korea whose easternmost island is called "Chukdo" located at 130 degrees 56 minutes 23 seconds East longtitude. "Chukdo" is a small island located northeast of Ulleung Island. It is not "Takeshima" at all.

Let me emphasize again that Takeshima is situated at 131 degrees 52 minutes East longtitude. In other words, a territoriy of South Korea is limited up to "Chukdo or 竹島" (pronounced "Takeshima" in Japanese), part of Ulleung Island, therefore, not including Takeshima islets approximately 90 kilometers from Ulleung Island.

There are two islands called "Takeshima", one of which is Takeshima, part of Shimane Prefecture, Japan and the other  "Chukdo or 竹島" (pronounced "Takeshima" in Japanese), part of Ulleung Island situated approximately 90 kilometers from Takeshima, Japan.

Whatever stories South Korea makes up for deceiving the international community, South Korean propaganda efforts will end up in vain since Takeshima issue has been widely exposed to the eyes of the good people in free and democratic community of the world.

Therefore, South Korea has been left with nothing but two options; that is, either to face international justice or crawl into a hole and dissapear if there is one left for South Korea.
