The ruling party faces "headwinds"

A week after abrupt dissolution of the Lower House of the Diet (Japan's national legislature), the members of the ruling party, the Democratic Party of Japan have been facing headwinds in everywhere as they were elected in the 2009 general election for the slogan "People's life comes first".  Many voters now believe that they have been deceived and betrayed by the ruling party. Whether they are still with the party or not, everywhere they go, they meet voters shouting so loud "You are liars!". Nothing they can do except they keep apologizing to them for failures to meet their promises.
