The Japan Coast Guard Rescues 9 North Koreans Drifting in the Sea of Japan

According to the Japan Coast Guard, local fishermen spotted a small fishing boat drifting in the Sea of Japan off the Noto peninsula, Ishikawa Pref. , Japan at around 7:00 am today.

9 people including children and women have been seen aboard the ship. The Japan Coast Guard has dispatched a ship and an airplane to the area to rescue them . 能登半島沖に脱北者？９人乗りの船…海保救助中
