At around 6:15 on August 24, the Japan Coast Guard ship sighted two Chinese Fisheries Patrol vessels at contiguous zone close to Japan's territorial waters and then entering Japan's territorial waters at 6:35. The 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters warned them not to penetrate into Japan's territorial waters and told them to leave immediately.
Either one of the Chinese vessels responded to the Japan Coast Guard that we were carrying out our official duty at the Chinese territorial waters in accordance with our laws. Although they left Japan's territorial waters at around 7:10, they entered again and left in seven minutes.
