Many hint: Prime Minister Kan will step down before summer

Many hint that Prime Minister Kan will step down before hot and humid summer comes while Mr. Ishiba, Secretary General of the Liberal Democratic Party stated "The party is willing to cooperate with the Democratic Party of Japan in coping with the on-going national crisis in such a way as either to form a great coalition government or to support the new cabinet from outside till the end of the year or next spring only after PM Kan steps down."

He hinted that the party would submit a censure motion against Prime Minister Kan at the upper house of the national Diet after consulting with its executive body if Prime Minister Kan did not step down.
